Shooters
Easy Red 2 $7.19
The Gold standard for WWII FPS. This is a game where you and a few friends can go against an army of quality AI bots, and the bots can win. This is not a game for twitch streamers to farm noobs with AIM bots or for people who demand that no game should have bots. It’s for people who loved 2000-era multiplayer shooters like Battlefield 1942, but this is on a much larger scale. And it costs as much as a cheeseburger.
Hold Fast Nations at War $15.99
With the console release, this game has tons of people playing. Lots of fun. Slow Reloading time like reality.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon $2.99
With the decades of mods out there, it’s still one of the best tactical military sims out there. New games are good, but don’t hold up to the original.
Ravenfield $10.79
This game has everything and some.
Six Days in Fallujah $25.99
Most realistic FPS ever made. Gave me PTSD with the VR mod. Not just recency bias from my own personal experience. I went back to Fallujah a few years ago.
Arma 3 $9.49
Most realistic War sim ever made with combined arms. No desire to play reforger cause no single player campaign at the time of writing, but there will be soon. I highly recommend their Vietnam DLC.
Dagger Directive $15.99
Great throw back to old school Delta Force (not the new one)
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered $6.99
Good Classic and story.
Isonzo $5.99
Best WW1 shooter ever made. The whole series is great, and the bots are competent. I’ll support any game these guys come out with unless they get rid of their bots. No machine gun fest like Battlefield 1. They stick to accuracy.
Call of Duty (2003) $9.99
I know some may say I’m just being a boomer putting the first Call of Duty on here, but I never played the pc version till a few years ago, and wow, it still holds up to this day with a great campaign. Made Medal of Honor obsolete in my opinion. Much better than Space sci-fi microtransaction farms of today.
