Hooded Horse Publisher Sale Now Live

Try as hard as you might, but faulting Hooded Horse on anything is a borderline impossible mission in 2026. Not only are they responsible for publishing some of the best strategy games in recent memory like Manor Lords, Against the Storm, and 9 Kings, but they’re also constantly running sales on nearly the entirety of their catalogue. Just in case you’ve been itching to pick up one of their titles, check out their ongoing sale that’s going to last until the 10th of September. Highlights of the sale are Against The Storm at 70%, costing just $8.99, and 9 Kings at 50% off, going for $9.99.
2 Fights In 2 Tight Spaces Is Out Now

And I had no idea the game had released in June of this year. As a fan of the title from Ground Shatter, I’m surprised I haven’t heard about this one in the slightest, so let me right this wrong right now! Agent 11 is back, and he’s not, absolutely in any way, shape, or form, John Wick, and this fantastic turn-based deck-builder brings with it a couple of changes! The art style got an upgrade; there’s an even bigger emphasis on weapons, as players will now be able to pick weapons from it and disarm their opponents, and there are new environmental ways of damaging your enemies. Overall, it looks like a nice upgrade from the first one, and I’ll be giving this one a go as soon as I’m able to pick it up. 2 Fights in 2 Tight Spaces is available on Steam’s Early Access program, and it costs just $12.99.
Steel Wolverines: Modern Armored Combat
I came across Steel Wolverines: Modern Armored Combat when searching for Steel Company, which is rather curious, because not only do these games share the first half of their name, but they also have plenty of wargaming DNA in common. Steel Wolverines is a turn-based tactical wargame very obviously inspired by entries from the 90s. Set in 2030, it will have a classic Russian invasion setting on the Polish-Lithuanian Border. Here’s what to expect:
- A three-act campaign;
- More than 40 modern vehicles (including drones);
- Detection, armor, ammunition, damage, and vehicle-protection systems like APS, jammers, and even cope cages;
- Procedurally generated battlefields;
- A map editor with a “real map studio” capable of turning real-life locations into playable hex-maps.
