Warhammer Classics Return to Online Stores

A lot of “new” Warhammer Classics have arrived on Steam, with seven beloved cult titles arriving there for the first time ever, and 12 more returning after delisting! This return includes heavy hitters like Chaos Gate, Final Liberation, and Shadow of the Horned Rat, and more. Add to that that you can once again pick up Sanctus Reach and Armageddon, games that were delisted last year, but are now back on sale. All of the new titles are on sale right now, so it’s a really good time if you want to pick some of them up. In case you need some help, check out my list on the best 40K games to play in 2026.

Age of Mythology: Retold – The Aztec Pantheon Is Arriving Soon

The gods are growing in number. Age of Mythology: Retold is receiving the Obsidian Mirror expansion, which finally introduces the Aztec Pantheon. This brings a whole new set of mythological units, god powers, and a unique campaign to the game with 12 missions. It’s great to see the “Retold” edition getting the same love and expansion as the Age of Empires 2: Definitive Editions.

Nebulous: Fleet Command Campaign Update

Moresauce has finally given us a release date for the highly anticipated Nebulous: Fleet Command campaign update: May 29, 2026. The campaign will span 16 missions across 3 zones, with a boss battle at the end of each zone. You can expect fully voice-acted scenes during gameplay, cutscenes, and animatics. This game already has some of the best 3D space combat physics on the market, and adding a campaign will finally please those who wish to play alone, and avoid the lobbies that are reportedly filled with tryhards.

Corsair Cove: Pirate City-Building From Hooded Horse

Hooded Horse is publishing Corsair Cove, a new pirate-themed city-builder that features a unique vertical building system. Unlike your standard flat grids, you’ll be stacking your pirate haven into the cliffs and coves of tropical islands, managing efficiency and defense in beautiful 3D environments. It’s got a great aesthetic, but don’t let the colorful visuals fool you; the game is set to have a ton of deep management under the hood, and the game is going to feature a turn-based combat system where ship choice, captain, and crew will all come into play. A turn-based ship combat game never sounds boring to me.

Company of Heroes 3: Dare & Destroy DLC and Roadmap

Company of Heroes 3 roadmap going into 2023 highlighting a major 2.3.0 update with new cosmetics, maps and balance. Update 2.4.0 highlights new battlegroups, cosmetics and balance. The Major update 2.5.0 will add new cosmetics, maps and more balance updates, and a something new that's "classified"

Relic is doubling down on Company of Heroes 3 with the announcement of the Dare & Destroy DLC. This expansion looks to bring new life to the Mediterranean theater with fresh units and tactical options by introducing four battlegroups: The French Experitionary force focuses on defensive operations; the Wehrmacht Siegebreaker is equipped with heavy equipment to breach hardpoints; The British see the arrival of the Special Services Battlegroup who specialize in raiding and denying resources; Last, but not least, the Elite Forces of the Deutsches Afrikakorps are a more traditional fighting force of veteran infantry. Alongside the DLC, they’ve shared an updated roadmap that outlines their commitment to balance, new maps, and quality-of-life improvements throughout the coming year.

The game had a bit of a rocky start, but the current trajectory is looking positive. Company of Heroes 3 is a tactical RTS that focuses on the Italian and North African campaigns of WWII. It features a dynamic campaign map and destructible environments that force you to rethink your cover-based tactics constantly, and keep things pretty exciting. Having reviewed the game after several patches, I think the game is in a much better state in 2026 and is well worth playing.
