Cold War Battles: Fast-Paced Hex-and-Counter Tactics

Cold War Battles is looking like a solid entry for those who want that classic board game feel on their PC. It’s a turn-based wargame covering conflicts from 1945 to 1990, featuring over 200 historically accurate units. It focuses on quick-playing scenarios rather than overwhelming logistics and cluttered mechanics. The developer, Kudos Games, is aiming for a Q3 2026 release.

Hotel Architect Leaving Early Access In May 2026

For those who prefer their strategy with a side of hospitality, Hotel Architect is officially leaving Early Access on May 14th. The 1.0 release includes a full sandbox mode, difficulty options, new locations, expanded systems, and overall improvements to game balancing. During its Early Access stay, the game racked up an impressive 94% Very Positive review rating.

MicroProse’s Repterra Launches on April 28

MicroProse is back with another interesting pick, and this time we’re trading tanks for Triceratops. Repterra, the base-building survival RTS from solo dev Chute Apps, is officially hitting Steam on April 28th. If you’ve ever played They Are Billions and thought, “this is great, but it really needs 100,000 angry dinosaurs,” then this is exactly the game you’ve been waiting for.
