Nova Roma Is Out Now
For the city-builder fans, Nova Roma has officially launched. The perfect game for those of us that cannot stop thinking about the Roman Empire every day. The game has you creating a new Rome, and places a heavy emphasis on water physics and large-scale engineering. You’ll spend as much time worrying about aqueducts and flood plains as you will about keeping the Plebeians happy. It’s a beautiful, challenging take on the genre that feels fresh despite the familiar setting.

Wargame Design Studio Game of the Week

Wargame Design Studio (WDS) has named Budapest ’45 as the Game of the Week for March 23–29. As with all featured titles, it is currently available at a 25% discount.
This entry in the Panzer Campaigns series focuses on the brutal siege of the Hungarian capital and the multiple German attempts to relieve the city and its troops. The game is massive in scope, featuring 62 scenarios and a staggering 75,000-hex map that covers the intense fighting from Bratislava to Yugoslavia. If you’re looking for a deep dive into the chaotic final stages of the Eastern Front, this is the one to grab while it’s on sale.
That’s all for this week! I’m personally very excited about the WDS Steam news—it’s going to be a long weekend of reorganizing my library. Which of these updates are you most hyped for? Let me know in the comments!
