The Men of War series has had its fair share of ups and downs over the years, so why not take the whole thing for a ride? For under 3 dollars, the Men of War – Classic Story Collection has the original Men of War, Men of War: Red Tide, Men of War: Condemned Heroes (these three are amazing World War 2 games!), and Men of War: Vietnam, which isn’t so good as the other titles, but what other strategy games do you have set in Vietnam? Not a whole lot.
3 – Stronghold: Definitive Edition
Just in case you don’t know my opinion on the Stronghold series, I think that this is one of the best strategy games ever made, and Stronghold: Definitive Edition is one of the games that, alongside the likes of Age of Empires 2 and FTL, is always installed on my machine. With this being said, for just a fiver, Stronghold: Definitive Edition is a strategy game that everybody should have on their Steam library, and one of the best deals of the Steam Winter Sale 2025.

Well, it’s Supreme Commander. If I didn’t put Supreme Commander here, being as cheap as it is, the people who revere this title would once again come to my comments and tell me how amazing the game is, and that I should include it in everything I do. There! Happy now?

The one that started the most well-known, beloved, and arguably, most successful series of strategy games of all time. Sitting at just $5, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is the best deal you can find on the Steam Winter Sale 2025. Experience this beloved classic with remastered 4K visuals, a new soundtrack, narration, and competitive multiplayer features. If you can only buy one game on this list and don’t have Age of Empires, just get this one. You won’t be disappointed.
