Arms Trade Tycoon Is Going To World War II
I write about Arms Trade Tycoon so frequently that I feel the game’s coming up rather nicely. The team recently announced that they’re currently working on bringing World War 2 to the game, and they have recently released a massive patch including the Tank Design Assistant that – unsurprisingly, assists you in designing tanks. The espionage centre will allow for some good ol’ corporate espionage. Most importantly, for new players, the tutorial has been revised to ease them into the experience of managing the military-industrial complex.
Critical Moves new Episode!
Join me and the boys in the latest episode of The Critical Moves Podcast where we discuss the Franchises that should be Strategy games!
Here’s a taste of what we came up with:
- Bobiverse: A Stellaris-style grand strategy game, where you control a fleet of self-replicating probes exploring the cosmos.
- War of the Worlds: An asymmetrical RTS pitting human resistance against a technologically superior Martian invasion.
- G.I. Joe: A tactical XCOM-like game, commanding the Joes in high-stakes missions against Cobra.
- Game of Thrones: A hybrid of Crusader Kings and Total War, blending political intrigue with large-scale warfare.
