I don’t recall seeing a turn-based strategy game as widely acclaimed as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was. I don’t know a single person who dislikes this game. The setting is beautiful, the story is heartbreaking, and the combat system gets better and better the further you go along in the game, which is one of the rarest things to see with these sorts of games. A monumental achievement in gaming, the Game of the Year for everyone, and a generational experience.
