Veterans: Napoleonic Wars Is Looking Fantastic
A new dev log from the up-and-coming real-time tactics game Veterans: Napoleonic Wars showcases how the team has been working on improving the environment textures and animations, as well as volumetric smoke and fog, more accurate battlation formations, new units, and so much more. Give the video a look, it’s just over a minute, and if you’re in the group of people who wanted to see Ultimate General take on the Napoleonic Era of warfare, this will certainly be of interest.
Starship Troopers: Terran Command Eradicators DLC

The Artistocrats aren’t done with the cosmic bug-splatting just yet in Starship Troopers: Terran Command, a game that is now known as one of the best strategy games of the last decade. The first Battle Group DLC is focused exclusively on the new Territory Mode, and adds the “Eradicators”, a faction that exterminates the Arachnids with chemical weapons and radiation. The DLC will add a new planet, 7 new player units, 4 new Arachnid units, 10 new Territory maps, new technologies, and objectives. If you want to join the Closed Beta and help the team test it out, you can do so here!
MicroProse’s Repterra Out Now

MicroProse just keeps the hits coming. Repterra has officially been released into Early Access on April 28. This “Dino-RTS” tasks you with building and defending colonies in a world where prehistoric predators are both your greatest threat and your most powerful allies. I still have the demo installed, ready to give it a go. The game looks pretty fun, and I always enjoy having a go at a survival RTS genre that feels like a lost 90s classic.
Regiments Final Update

Bird’s Eye Games has delivered a bittersweet sendoff to one of the best Cold War games in recent memory. Update 1.5.0 is the final major content drop for Regiments, adding Steam achievements, new units, maps, and several quality of life improvements. Over the years, Regiments has grown to become a fan favorite, and its single-player focus is perfect for those who dislike Wargame’s and WARNO’s focus on competitive multiplayer.
