Rogue Command 1.0 Release Date

The roguelike-RTS hybrid Rogue Command has finally announced its exit from the orbital shipyards of Early Access. After 6 years of development, the 1.0 release is scheduled for May 14, and the update will be accompanied by a substantial content update, with Castle joining the roster of Specialists, and 5 new Ascensions with unique bosses and modifiers.

Legendary Pilots Out Now In Early Access

For those who prefer a change of pace from the front lines, Legendary Pilots has officially landed on Steam. This stylized flight sim focuses on offering a chill flight experience, rather than purely realistic mechanics and physics. I have been playing it on and off since it released on April 21st, and I kind of enjoy it, even if it’s a bit thin on content as of right now. I hope that BerkBox continues to improve it during its Early Access. With its charming retro pixel art and chill vibes, it’s the perfect “palate cleanser” between high-intensity wargames.

Wargame Design Studio Game Of The Week – Naval Campaigns: Jutland

After taking part in their first Steam Sale ever, with Crusades Book I and Book II on sale, Wargame Design Studio has gone back to its regular weekly schedule of discounts, and the game on display this week trades the medieval trebuchets, longbows, and swords for submarines, minefils, and dreadnoughts. Naval Campaigns: Jutland is a naval wargame taking place in the second half of the First World War, and features 34 stand-alone scenarios, and a random campaign which pulls from an additional 40 scenarios.
