The King Is Watching Came Out And People Are Loving It
Tinybuild and Hypnohead got together to develop and publish the roguelite kingdom-builder The King Is Watching. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that, despite having a whole kingdom to manage, your servants only work when you gaze upon them. Turn your watchful eye elsewhere, and they’ll immediately go back to their lazy self. So your kingdom’s decisions carry a lot of weight: what should you build? And how should you build? Because if you can only watch a limited number of squares at once, how are you going to pair those together to make the most out of them?
Copa City Is A City Management Game With A Sports Twist
I came across Copa City this week while perusing Steam for news, and its peculiar premise struck me as something that might be worth keeping an eye on: an economic strategy game where you must act as a city mayor and sports event organizer. Building up your city, managing its structures and stadiums, providing entertainment, food, and security is going to be the basis of what you’re going to be doing.
Wargame Design Studio Game of the Week
This week, Wargame Design Studio is running a sale on Panzer Campaigns: Sicily ’43, a strategic-level affair going over the first stage of the invasion of the “soft underbelly” of Europe. The game goes over the 38 days it took the Allied forces to capture the Island. The game includes 51 scenarios, a master map of 66,500 hexes of the whole island, and a detailed order of battle that covers Axis and Allied formations. The game is currently on sale for $29.95.
