5 – Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Comes Out In February
I know this isn’t a strategy game or a wargame, but I’m a sucker for medieval games and history, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find an RPG as engrossing, as complex and as historically accurate as the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance, so I cannot wait for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II come out. The game’s coming out on the 4th of February.
4 – Dustland Delivery Is Apocalypse Tycoon
Well, here’s an interesting one: Dustland Delivery describes itself as a “post-apocalyptic survival business simulator”, and the basic gist of it is that you go around the wasteland scouring it for riches and resources to help you build your city into a massive capital.
3 – WILD Tactics Is A New Turn-Based Tactics Game With Animals
Everyone who’s a friend of mine knows that I find anthropomorphised animals to be quite a disturbing concept. There’s just something primal that lives deep within me that looks at it and thinks “Ugh, no”. This being said I’m happy for those of you who will be able to enjoy WILD Tactics, a new turn-based strategy game where you fight the organized crime of Clawville (yes, really).
2 – Wargame Design Studios 2024 End Of Year Update
The fine folk working at Wargame Design Studios just updated their community as to what has happened during 2024. Fortunately, it’s mostly good news: Orders were up by 9%, and the average order value also grew by 6%. Website visits also grew 34%, and the customer return rate is sitting at a very impressive 61%. Your boy is also featured as a location where ads were run, and it’s a pleasure being able to contribute to Wargame Design Studios’ growth. Overall, it was a great year for them!
1 – Task Force Admiral Announced Their Kickstarter Stretch Goals
One of my most anticipated wargames of 2025, Task Force Admiral is going to run a Kickstarted Campaign because they love physical media that much!
“The Kickstarter is about the physical box, plain & simply, with extra steps – that is, a digital option to allow those who want to support without getting a box to do so (with some extra contents), beta access & stretch goals. We still have dev money, it won’t make it happen faster or slower (just happen bigger).“
Now, am I going to buy it? Yes. Should you? Maybe, at least if you want to see Task Force Admiral having 3D crewmen, an orchestral soundtrack, 1943 battles, and playable fighters. Those are, by order of presentation, the stretch goals for their Kickstarter.
Support Strategy and Wargaming
I do what I do in Strategy and Wargaming because I love to do this, and I’m never going to stop. If you would like to support me with that, you can buy me a coffee for a dollar if you’re feeling generous. If you can’t, no worries, Strategy and Wargaming will always be free, and I’d love to have you around!
