There Are Hundreds of Demos To Be Play In This Steam Next Fest 2025
Given the popularity of my previous recommendation about the 10 Must Try Strategy Games Demos For The Steam Next Fest, I decided to put together another quick list that’s going to highlight some other titles I think might be worth your time and energy. This is going to be a shorter and more concise list, because the main goal is to help you with discoverability of new games and demos. If you want more in-depth lists, you can check them here.
The Steam Next Fest is currently running from October 13th to October 20th, so make sure you hurry up and try to get as many of these demos under your belt as possible!
7 – Stellar Reach
Stellar Reach is getting a release rather soon, on the 22nd of October, and if you want to give this 4X sci-fi strategy a try before pulling the trigger on a purchase, this is the time to do it.
6 – Panzer Deck
I had no idea what Panzer Deck was until I first saw it during this Steam Next Fest (I guess it’s doing its job!), and its presentation instantly earned it a spot on my to-try list. It’s a tactical, turn-based deck builder where the player must use cards to place and move units around to achieve tactical superiority on the battlefield.
5 – In The Black
A space combat sim, six years in development, In The Black focuses on accurate combat simulation in space, based on actual science, and the focus is on making the player feel like an actual pilot. Also, the team (Impeller Studios) is led by industry veterans Jack Mamais from MechWarrior 2 and David Wessman from X-Wing/TIE Fighter.
