Folklands Set To Launch September 9

Folklands, a relaxing settlement builder with a retro look and feel inspired by Nordic culture, is set to come out of its Early Access stage on the 9th of September, 2026. The 1.0 version of Folklands will include 5 different victory conditions, new ways to customize the way each session plays, raider camps, new production chains, and an adjustment to the map generation to encourage expansion and competition for resources.

Strategy Game Studio and Avalon Digital have announced the coming of a new title. Called SGS Burning Banners, the studio trades the historical titles that made them famous and beloved by wargamers, and goes down a more fantastical approach. Set in the aftermath of the Worldwound, this title is a computer adaptation of the SGS engine of the Compass Games tabletop fantasy board game Burning Banners: Rage of the Witch Queen.
The Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age Out In Early Access

Wield Interactive’s first foray into the ancient world with The Fertile Crescent went so well that a new entry is now out in Steam’s Early Access. Titled The Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age, the game takes place right at the tail end of… the Bronze Age. The known world is falling apart, and it’s up to the player to lead a small group of survivors across these turbulent times. The game features:
- Narrative RTS campaign set during the Bronze Age Collapse;
- 4 Playable factions: Assyrians, Egyptians, Babylonians, and the Hittites;
- Skirmish mode and Multiplayer;
- Gameplay focused on survival with base-building and resource management taking center stage;
