1 – ISLANDERS: New Shores
To me, there’s no other game white like ISLANDERS: New Shores. Since the release of the first ISLANDERS game in 2019, this hás become the game I always fall back to whenever I want to unplug and relax while listening to music or a podcast. ISLANDERS: New Shores came out in 2025, but I only picked it up this year, and it has already replaced the original. The Basics are all here: start a run, place buildings on an island, create combos, cover the necessary score, and move on to another island, and start anew. New Shores added new buildings and combos, a wider variety of island biomes, and a new boon system that adds just enough depth to justify replacing the original ISLANDERS with this one. This was also my most played game during my two-week vacation just last month. I cannot recommend New Shores enough.
