Task Force Admiral Arrives To Early Access On January 27th

Oh yes, this one certainly doesn’t feel real at all. Task Force Admiral has been so long in development that it’s hard to believe it’s finally coming out on the 27th of January. While I don’t have a review ready for its launch day, I’ll certainly be penning my thoughts on it once I manage to get a couple more hours with its new battles. While I don’t think the final release will change my extremely positive opinion on it, I need to see the way other battles play out before making a call.
Ghost Keeper Comes Out On January 28th
On January 28th, the day right after the release of Task Force Admiral, Ghost Keeper is coming to early access. The game has been in development for a couple of years as well (given the fact that it managed to land on my 50 best strategy games for 2025), and it will give players full control over a wide variety of ghosts and minions to torment the living and fight the Brotherhood, a sort of Ghostbusters-esque faction.
Wargame Design Studio Game of the Week

War of the Austrian Succession is the latest of the Wargame Design Studio titles to go on sale, and those of you wanting to give 18th-century warfare a go should pick up a pencil and a notebook and start taking notes: Currently at 25% off, it’s the first time the game has been discounted since its January 2025 release. The game features 85 scenarios, a wide range of true-to-life maps, realistic orders of battle, and 3D unit graphics. Just in case you’re new here, the games from Wargame Design Studio are beloved for their accurate portrayal of History, attention to detail, and authentic gameplay mechanics that mimic the real-life factors of warfare.
