Historical city-builder set during the Industrial Revolution. Some say it’s the best in the Anno series, others say it’s the best in a historical city-builder ever
Dungeons 3 – $ 5.99
What Dungeon Keeper should have become. Dungeons 3 is one of the funniest games I have ever played. Still love it to this day and would highly recommend it. It has an amazing campaign where you are the villain of the story.
Civilization VI – $ 5.99
The best Civilization game of the series, for 6 bucks.
Field of Glory II – $ 5.99
Imagine if Total War: Rome II battles were realistic and had some depth to them. That’s essentially Field of Glory II, but turn-based.
Slay the Spire – $ 6.24
The best deck-building rogue-lite game of all time, with hundreds of hours of gameplay.
Winter Falling: Battle Tactics – $ 6.29
Another one of those games that wants to simplify mechanics and all that. Works cool.
Banished – $ 6.79
Medieval city-building game where your biggest enemy is the winter and your poor planning.
Star Wars Empire At War – Gold Pack – $ 6.99
The best Star Wars real-time strategy ever made. Amazing space combat.
Endless Legend – $ 7.49
The best 4X game with amazing asymmetrical factions and lore.
Wargame: Red Dragon – $ 7.49
Cold War gone hot, for those of you who want to make your own decks and have high APM.
Cauldrons of War – Barbarossa – $ 7.49
You’ll be acting as one of the spiciest mustache men of all time. Decide what strategic goals to achieve during the war, where to allocate resources, and see things unfold. Perfect if you dislike micromanaging.
Mini Motorways – $ 7.99
Connect your city until traffic becomes too much to manage and you lose the game. Pretty addictive.
Cities Skylines – $8.99
The best city-builder ever made, without a shadow of a doubt.
Songs of Conquest – $ 8.99
When your mom said, “We have Heroes of Might and Magic at home”, but it turned out it’s actually quite good.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns – $ 8.99
XCOM+Marvel Heroes+Deckbuilding.
Democracy 4 – $ 9.17
The most intricate political simulation game ever made, but quite hard to get into, as everything is super abstracted.
Space Haven – $ 9.19
A base-building game in space, where you put your ship together.
BATTLETECH – $ 9.99
XCOM but with big stompy mechs. A fan-favorite.
Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm – $ 9.99
One of the best Cold War gone hot wargames ever made. Very unique turn-structure. Easy to get into, there are hundreds of hours of gameplay here.
Get The Most Literal Bang For Your Literal Bucks
I hope you enjoyed this different list. I think it’s super useful and might help you guys a lot, mainly by giving you visibility about some games you might not have even considered or remembered.
