Drone Sector Out Now
MicroProse has just released Drone Sector on July 21st into Early Access, and the game is already packing a “Very Positive” Steam rating with a very respectable 90% score. Drone Sector is a gunship game with some RTS elements where you control, well, a drone, and provide close air support by firing a variety of weapons while also managing your troops on the ground. It’s quite intense, and I played the demo for it a couple of months back, and it was pretty good.
Liquidation To Be Out Soon
MicroProse is really going all out this summer. Liquidation, their sci-fi and fantasy RTS title developed by Divio, is coming out on August 4th, and I’m not sure what to think about it. I have tried to play it during the Steam Next Fest (I think), and performance wasn’t all that great for me, but from some videos I have seen online, it looked like I was an isolated case, so maybe I’ll give this one a go once it comes out. I do enjoy its mix of Starcraft and Warhammer 40,000 vibes, and it makes for a very compelling setting.
La Campaña de Irún Gameplay
I came across this gameplay footage on social media about La Campaña de Irún (Spanish Civil War), but don’t know what to make of this, since there’s no commentary or information available. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that we might see a new Spanish Civil War soon, and that’s pretty great.
