Ghost Justice Is A New Game From Centurion Developments
Forgotten but Unbroken failed to impress me, so I’m now here hoping that the new game from Centurion Developments is a tad bit better. Ghost Justice is going to be a turn-based strategy game where the player takes the fight against ruthless cartels, making use of several squads at the same time, and using stealth to infiltrate, eliminate key leaders, and complete objectives before the enemy even knows there’s an objective to be completed. By the description and the setting, the game does sound a lot closer to something like Jagged Alliance. Curiously enough, Forgotten but Unbroken had been published by MicroProse, but it seems that this time around Centurion Developments is going independent.
Firefly Studios Is Now a Publisher
Firefly Studios has done quite a resurgence lately, uh? First, they come back with two amazing remasters of their most beloved titles, Stronghold: Definitive Edition and Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition, to massive critical and player acclaim. Then, they go on to casually announce that they’re working on Stronghold 4, which is looking quite decent, in fact, something that no other Stronghold game that has gone 3D managed to do. Now, Firefly Studios is no longer just a development house, but also a publishing one, having recently acquired the publishing rights for Fool King, an autobattler with asynchronous PVP.
Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition – The Baltic Power DLC
Every time I sit down to write these news digests, it seems like I’m going back in time. Now, Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition is also getting a new DLC called The Baltic Powers, adding 2 new civs (The Danish and the Polish), 2 new scenarios and game modes, as well as 25 new maps.
Age of Empires IV: Raiders of the North
Not to be outdone by its older brother, Age of Empires IV also announced a new DLC titled Raiders of the North. As the name suggests, this is going to be focused on Northern European civs, and the two new ones are the Vikings and the Scots, each of which also comes with its own biomes, with the Tundra Summer for the former and the Scottish Heathland for the latter. There’s not a precise release date as of yet, but the expansion is set to come out in Q4 2026.
