Dust Front RTS Demo Made Everybody A Fan
The Steam Next Fest had a lot of strategy game bangers making a show, with Corsair Cove, ZeroSpace, and Prelude Dark Pain making their way into the hearts (and wishlists) of players all over the world. However, from all the conversations I have seen online, there was one game that rose above all the rest, and that was the highly anticipated Dust Front RTS, with players praising the game’s tight controls, the atmosphere and tone, and the large scale it’s going for. If you haven’t played it, go and give it a go. I have played around with it, and I too came out of it very impressed, and agreeing with the majority of opinions that this is going to be a great game when it releases.
Radio Commander – Pacific ’41 New Details Unveiled

Radio Commander – Pacific had been a very on-and-off project when it came to news about its existence since, at least, 2022, when I first did an interview with the team. Fortunately, last year, Slitherine scooped up the franchise, and things seem to have gone on the right track since, with developer diaries coming out very consistently since April of 2026, showcasing that the game is indeed progressing. The latest “Transmission from the Pacific #3” goes over how the terrain in Radio Commander – Pacific ’41 influences movement and combat: the game is set to feature several terrain types, ranging from forests, roads, slopes, build-up areas (buildings), water, deep water, and rivers.
From the look of the game’s screenshots and from what I remember of playing the demo in 2024 (I think), the maps are looking substantially better and more detailed, and even the scale seems to have grown larger. Very excited to see where this one goes.
Panzer Corps 2: Elite – All American DLC Announced

Still on the Slitherine news train ride, we have the announcement of the latest Panzer Corps 2 DLC, called Elite – All American. A reference to the iconic 82nd Airborne Division, this expansion will zoom into the battles that these brave jumpers took part in during World War 2. Set to feature 9 new scenarios, this DLC will also change the way Panzer Corps 2 plays by focusing more on the close-quarters infantry combat, instead of the mechanized-heavy gameplay that the series is famous for. As a confessed fan of the tactical layer of strategy, this might be the DLC that will have me going back to Panzer Corps 2 once again. At the moment, there’s no release date. I’ll let you all know once that changes.
Battle Brothers Gets New Content 9 Years After Release

Despite being out for nearly a decade at this point, Battle Brothers is still getting free content. The latest update added new weapons: a Pollaxe, Executioner’s Sword, Estoc, and a buckler. New enemies also make a show, with a new tier of bandits called “Brigand Marauders” being added to the game, as well as experienced nerds with better stats and more perks than raiders, as well as substantially well-armed.
