Steam Board Game Fest 2026 Is An Amazing Opportunity To Get Cheap Games

Steam is always running new sales, festivals, and all kinds of events, but this one might be of special interest to you, because it’s all about Board Games! Until the 2nd of February, there are hundreds of digital tabletop adaptations on sale on the Steam Board Game Fest. The best part is that the prices are pretty damn amazing and downright unbeatable, making this sale one of the best of the last couple of years. I have compiled a list of the 10 board games to buy on the Steam Board Game Fest 2026, if you’re looking for ideas.
Sovereign Tea Is Free To Keep
Here is some awesome news piece to put a smile on your face: Sovereign Tea, a strategy RPG where coffee and tea fight for superiority that came out in 2021, is going free to play, permanently. The developer announced this in the most awesome way possible: “There is a small change coming: the game is going to change from paid to free! This change will be permanent. We’ve made enough money from the game and at this point would like everybody to play, including those who previously could not afford the game”. I guess there are still people in the gaming industry who aren’t completely greedy goblins.
Songs of Conquest: Yulan DLC Announced

Released in 2024, Songs of Conquest is a sort of spiritual successor to Heroes of Might & Magic, and it managed to become quite a successful game, garnering a substantial following on Steam, and earned a Very Positive Steam rating with nearly 6,000 reviews. If you’re a fan, you’ll be glad to know that a new DLC has been announced called Yulan. The DLC brings a new Tale, 5 new conquest maps, 8 troops with new traits and abilities, towns and settlements with new buildings, a new biome, and access to Essence of Order, Arcana, and Creation.
Strategos Roadmap Detailed

Strategos just came out into Early Access, and it turned out to be quite a good game, earning a solid 8.5 out of ten in my review. This is a semi-realistic real-time strategy game. We now have a detailed look at the developmental roadmap for the game, which includes more work on the first map-based campaign (and more of these), critical bug fixes, new units and army lists, additional sound effects, visual improvements, and more AI capabilities.
