Have You Heard About Black Orchestra?

I had never heard about Black Orchestra before, but I came across it this week, and it sounded interesting. Black Orchestra: Worldfront 37-54 is a mod for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam whose main goal is to recreate the original Red Orchestra and Rising Storm games, and use the game’s engine to take players “around the globe through major theaters of war from 1937 to 1954”. Give it a look if that interests you.

Distant Worlds 2 Major Update Coming Soon

I cannot sing enough praises about Distant Worlds 2, and with constant new updates, this is only going to be a lot more difficult. But this amazing space-strategy game is getting another massive update soon called “The Mercantile Update,” which is going to overhaul the mercantile guild factions of the Teekan and the Haakonis, improve AI behavior in battles, and update the UI with new notifications related to automation settings.

Game of the Week Wellington’s Peninsular War

The Wargame Design Studio Game of the Week is Wellington’s Peninsular War, a game that will bring you to Portugal and Spain to defeat the French with the help of the English. With 184 scenarios, playable by both sides, there are plenty of opportunities to do just that.
