10 – Void War
Void War is FTL: Faster Than Light with a non-official Warhammer 40,000 skin on top. If you enjoy FTL, you’ll enjoy this. If you enjoy both FTL and Warhammer, you’ll love this one.
9 – Command & Conquer Remastered Collection
It’s Command & Conquer, what else do you need to know? If, for some reason, you have never played a game in this classic series, you really should.
8 – Terra Nil
A self-described reverse strategy game where players must rebuild several planets instead of destroying the one they’re on. It’s a very special and relaxing experience landing in a wasteland and slowly, but surely, creating the necessary infrastructure to revive nature and bring back life. Once you’re done, it’s time to dismantle any presence of your existence and to let nature take its course. I really enjoy Terra Nil, and even found a way to call it one of the best space games you can play in 2025.
7 – Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew
If you’re looking for one of the best real-time tactics games ever made and certainly one of the best stealth strategy games in the vein of Commandos and Shadow Tactics, then look for no other alternative than Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, the last title from acclaimed development studio Mimimi Games. After releasing the modern classics that are Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun and Desperados 3, Mimimi took what they have learned and created the biggest stealth-strategy game ever made, with missions that are no longer puzzles, but true tests of your strategy.
6 – News Tower
Very few games manage to inject new ideas and new blood into the good ol’ genre of tycoon games. News Tower is the exception that proves the rule. A game where the player must build a newspaper business from scratch during the pre-war 1930s. From creating the layout of their own building, to managing which staff is covering each available story, to deciding what news is front-page worthy, and even managing political interests, News Tower is an amazing tycoon game that just came out of a very successful Early Access.
