Introduction
The Steam Autumn Sale 2026 is officially live until October 8, bringing massive discounts to some of the absolute best shooters on PC. As an FPS veteran who has spent decades analyzing recoil patterns, movement mechanics, and weapon balance, I’ve scoured the sale to pick out the absolute best values.
Whether you love hyper-tactical squad ops, retro boomer shooters, or fast-paced cinematic warfare, here are the first-person shooters you must pick up before the discounts disappear.
Battlefield 6 – 50% Discount ($34.99)
Battlefield 6 brings the franchise back to its premier sandbox roots with chaotic 128-player firefights, destruction physics, and tight class synergy. The gunplay strikes an ideal balance between arcade satisfaction and ballistics weight, keeping every combined-arms engagement thrilling. A 50% cut this early in its lifecycle makes it the best large-scale multiplayer deal of the sale.
Far Cry 5 – 85% Discount ($8.99)
If you want pure open-world carnage, Far Cry 5 delivers fantastic sandbox gunplay across the gorgeous yet hostile landscape of Hope County. Armed with an expansive arsenal and a seamless co-op campaign, taking down cult outposts never gets repetitive. At under nine bucks, it offers dozens of hours of high-explosive entertainment for pennies on the dollar.
Atomic Heart – 80% Discount ($11.99)
Atomic Heart pairs stylish Soviet-retro sci-fi visuals with punchy elemental combat and heavy-hitting guns. The encounter design forces you to mix telekinetic abilities with fast reflexes to overcome aggressive, terrifying robotic foes. It’s a visually stunning alternative campaign shooter that is well worth picking up at an 80% discount.
Bioshock 2 – 85% Discount ($2.99)
Stepping into the heavy boots of a Big Daddy gives BioShock 2 the crispest, most satisfying combat mechanics of the entire underwater trilogy. Dual-wielding deadly Plasmids alongside heavy industrial weaponry creates endless creative ways to control the battlefield. At under three dollars, missing out on this remastered classic is practically a crime for FPS purists.
Left 4 Dead 2 – 80% Discount ($1.99)
Even years after release, Left 4 Dead 2 remains the gold standard for co-op horde shooters due to its genius AI Director system. Its gunplay is timelessly snappy, and the vast library of Steam Workshop mods gives it virtually infinite replayability. For less than the price of a cup of coffee, this is a non-negotiable addition to every PC library.
