Slitherine and Steel Balalaika have announced that the highly anticipated release date for their tactical real-time strategy game, Broken Arrow, has been pushed back from 2024 to 2025. This decision was made to “ensure that the game meets the highest standards of quality and provides a seamless experience for its players.”guarantee a quality product and a great experience for its players”.
In a statement, Slitherine explained that ““The game won’t be releasing this year as intended, but we felt it was necessary. This decision is motivated by our desire to fully meet our community’s expectations, to ensure that Broken Arrow is the best game of its kind and that it provides a flawless experience to its players.” Slitherine also added that“we think we have an amazing game on our hands and we are certain that you won’t be disappointed”.
While the delay may disappoint some eager fans, Slitherine and Steel Balalaika have promised to make up for it. A new multiplayer Open Beta will be available for everyone to play starting on November 12th, and weekly developer diaries will be released to keep fans updated on the game’s progress.
In December, the developers will also make a major announcement related to Broken Arrow.
Broken Arrow is a large-scale real-time modern warfare tactics game featuring a unique army-building system and deep unit customization tools. It was named one of my most anticipated strategy games of 2024, and I’m sure it will feature on my most anticipated strategy games list of 2025 as well.
