1 – Civilization 6
The much-anticipated release of Civilization 7 didn’t go as well as we all hoped it would, but fortunately, we still have the best game of the series and the best 4X of all time going for less than 10 dollars, making this one of the best deals of the Steam Spring Sale 2026! Civilization 6 is yet another classic going to the bargain bin for everyone to pick up, even the ones that never played the franchise before, which I assume are in the minority. The game’s complete, and was refined over a decade of continuous development, with countless updates and expansions, with its Anthology edition offering one of the most extensive experiences in strategy gaming as a whole. The introduction of the district-based city-builder and the unique Era Score system made significant improvements to the formula, doing more than enough to have Civilization 6 stand out from the 4X crowd, and its predecessors, once again. If you can only buy one game from this list, and want to have a near endless amount of replayability, you cannot go wrong exploring, expanding, exploiting, and exterminating with Civilization 6.
Conclusion
Just by having this small glimpse at the Steam Spring Sale 2026, one thing is clear: All the classics went into the bargain bin, and it is we, the players, who will make the most of that. If you don’t have some of these games, this is a very unique time to be able to stock up your livravry with some of the absolute best classics in strategy gaming, with games like Age of Empires from the 1990s, to Civilization 6 and XCOM from a decade back, all the way to 9 Kings, a game taht came out just last year. Don’t waste any time! Remember that the Steam Easter Sale 2026 is running from the 19th to the 26th of March.
